I was a creative kid growing up. I picked up nature books and drew from them at our kitchen table while my grandfather read stories to me. It was my favourite way of spending time: doing something I loved with someone I loved.
When I moved to Canada from Ukraine, I stopped being creative, but art waited around and came back into my life. I picked up the brush again in my late twenties as a way of tapping into what feels easy and what feels like love. And the rest is history!
